My 30 days is almost up. I got my score up to 662 and waiting on my utilization to go to 1% anyday now....Delta I'm coming for you baby...LOL

no and no....last time i was denied because my bureau score was too low..which leads me to think it was the EX Plus they were looking at which was around 587 which would make sense to deny me..now it's 662 and utilization will be way down when I apply this time..

Very new to the CC game. Does having AMEX or Discover make some difference in your FICO scoring/mix or are cards just cards?

Starting Score:EQ 560t> TU 560EXP 570

For scoring, AmEx = Discover = Visa = MC.

For many of us who have fought our way to improved scores, getting an AmEx or Discover is sort of a notch in our belts.

Good Luck on applying. My EX score was 673 and for some reason I didn't take a hit on the pull and I got approved for 2k with 1% utilization. Make sure you apply on delta site, they give $50 off for the first flight booked. Does anyone know what score you need for discover?

I hope to hit 700's in 6 months
