Got approved on january for $1000.00 for the Room Place Card, used about 940.00 paid it off in 6 months and still no CLI option available. Even made a couple of calls and no CLI. am i missing something or is too early still?
IIRC, this is one of those Comenity furniture/private label cards that tend to provide a CLI option after 9 months (not less). So, try and see if this is available for you during the next cycle/month. Maybe others who have this same card can chime in.
I will check it out next cycle. I got a 1000 limit increase on my Cap one quicksilver just after 3 months so i was a little worried about my Furniture card not giving me a CLI Option since it has been 8 months. Thanks for the reply.
I'm not familiar with this card but do they provide you with an option to make small purchases (i.e. lamps, cushions, etc.) on a frequent basis or is it strictly a financing card for large purchases? Hopefully you can provide some favorable results with the CLI in the next month for others who may also have this card.
i havent seen any small items like that is usually furniture and such. i have seen so small tvs but their prices are not logical. Hopefully i get a CLI soon. i need new furniture but been waiting for a CLI to make a purchase. I will post a follow up if any CLI is available next month. thanks for your input.
A CLI is not a given regardless of what you charge. Does your credit and income support an increase?
CLI's are not simply exchanged for time. With any creditor it's about one's credit and income versus the creditor's criteria. Do not simply asu e that a CLI will come from X time paying in full. Payment History is the biggest factor but payments are not the only consideration. Your entire credit profile matters.

Exactly, and we see it over and over where people say "but X amount of statements have cut! But I've always PIF! Where is my CLI?"
The point is that there is no guarantee of a CLI outside of very limited circumstances such as Cap One's credit steps program etc. Everyone raves about how generous Comenity is with CLI and I can't get one of my BJ's mastercard to save my life. It is what it is. There are no guarantees.
