90K MR points AMEX Gold

I got a mail offer for 90K points after 10K spend. Is this offer itself an attractive one and one that most people would consider a great signup bonus?

❤️ Am a peaceful, positive person. Credit scores: Amazing and higher than most. AAoA: Superb. No lates. No delinquencies.

The past is the past. I'm a completely new person now as of 3/6/23

90k points sounds nice but the spending amount seems a little outrageous. I mean $10k? Sheeesh. This is the offer my mom has on it right now. I think this looks pretty sweet.

Is this for the business Gold? That's pretty high for a personal Gold SUB. Most people right now have a referral code for 90,000 with a $4k spend.

Re: 90K MR points AMEX Gold

Not an AmEx card holder (or fan) myself, so not totally sure if this is outstanding or not, but I did notice that AmEx Plat is now 125,000 MRs ($6k spend 180 days), and Gold/Rose is now 75,000 MRs ($4k spend 180 days).

Re: 90K MR points AMEX Gold

The 90k bonus is about the best.  If the 100k did exist, it was very short.  So I think 90k is about the best.

But the $10k spending is bad.  It is easy to get the 90k with $4k spend.

Re: 90K MR points AMEX Gold

As others have said, the amount of MRs is pretty good, but the spend needed is excessive.
