A Question about apping!

Hello all! I know it is kinda far from now since I'm trying to apply for the Chase Hyatt card around December, but was just wondering should I clear off all my balances on all my cards at the time I apply for the Hyatt card? I pay off every card every month except for the Bofa Cash rewards privileges I just got, I'm tryign to make use of the 12 months free of 0% APR and it wouldn't be due until next year's July. So I was wondering if it is ok for me to apply for the card with the only balance on one card out of all my cards or I should pay it off too before applying for the Hyatt card? Thank you!

Re: A Question about apping!

The general consensus around here is that scores are highest when all CCs except one report zero balances (and the one reporting is <10% of the CL).

Re: A Question about apping!

but if you leave a balance on each card; aren't you just letting the CC companies taking more of your money from APR %?
