Hey All,
So I found myself feeling a little bored while trying to get to sleep and cheked pre-selected offers on Cap1, just to pass the time.
I was offered a Quicksilver (with a VS logo - not sure if that means anything) at 17.9 APR.
Then the interesting one was a Venture at 17.9 APR. It's interesting because I already have a Venture with 15K and 22.9 APR
and a Venture ONE with 8K.
I know other people have applied for and received TWO Ventures. I have no intention of taking the offers as I'm trying to garden
until my home refinance.
i'm curious if the Cap 1 pre-quals mean anything and what reports have been coming through of apping for the 2nd Venture card??..
H.
There have been cases of people gettting second Venture cards. It doesn't mean anything to you if you're not ready to pull the trigger. See if the offer is still up after your mortgage closes......and go for it then?
Perhaps it's a sign to ask if they can lower your Venture APR to the one advertised on the pre-qual

But, the thing is that CapitalOne will never do that. At least not temporarily. permanently.

Capital One won't lower APRs? That's a drag.

If people got two ventures it'd probably be for the bonuses and hopes that C1 will start consolidating limits soon
Can you get another bonus for the same card that you already have?
My thought is, why have another annual fee?
If you want another C1 why not QS Visa? Zero % offer.

There's a $400 sign-on bonus for Venture. You cannot get that on an existing card, but some people have been able to get a 2nd bonus with a 2nd Venture card. Zero% has no value to someone looking for sign-on bonuses.
