A few HP data points

Sorted out my HPs in the last three years. Had some observations and wanted to share.

  • Amex used to triple pull; has pulled EX only since late 2013
  • BoA pulls EX for new app, and TU for CLI
  • Barclays used to double pull TU+EX; now pulls TU exclusively
  • Cap1 triple pull is real, always (new app)
  • Chase used to double pull EX+EQ; now pulls EX exclusively
  • Citi likes double pull EX+EQ; sometimes pulls one of them (eg. my DC app)
  • Disocver always pulls TU for me
  • Elan/US Bank pulls either TU or EX, never EQ
  • SunTurst always pulls EQ exclusively

I wish someone develops a comprehensive database for everything about approval score and HP/SP involved in app, CLI, consolidation etc. where registered users can fill out a form and submit data. All the threads and hearsays are so much entropy.

Yep it's a nice tool. Unfortunately they don't accept my email so I (and probably a lot more folks) can't add any data points.

Yes I'm aware of that one but it's very crude with little data. Few people actually use it.

Discover pulls only TU in my experience; doesn't seem region-dependent.

What do you mean by "they don't accept my email"?  I've submitted plenty of approvals/denials in the creditpulls databse and it was never via email.

I click the "here" to submit your own entry link and then complete the information.  Try that, you could probably add some valuable information to a lot of people.

I mean I can't register with my email address. They seem to block Ymail (=Yahoo) addresses or something.

Discover pulled EQ for me In Feb.   And a quick check of the credit pull DB (and I think lots of people use it!): first four entries show the three different CRAs (EQ is there twice in the first four) all in the last few days
