5% on the 12th, and then 1% on the 15th after the changes took effect. Definitely not getting 5% anymore at Meijer. I had a couple other transactions post after the 15th too that only got 1%. I'll probably test Walmart at self checkout and regular checkout and with Walmart pay and see if anything still triggers 5% with the AAA there, but I doubt it.
So, I have the Travel Advantage card and got gas at Meijer last week. 1%. It used to get 5%. Not happy about this. I need to check my Murphy's gas station. That's where I get most of my gas and have been making bank from 10 cents off with Walmart+ stacked with Upside stacked with 5% AAA card. Will test and report back soon.
Something to note: I never received any email letting me know there were changes taking place. I was hoping they would only apply to the Daily Advantage card. Guess I was wrong.

I'm not sure if the AAA card lets you see actual code? Do you know how to look it up? I can tell you that the same Meijer location codes as groceries for AMEX, PNC, Discover, and Citi Financial (SYW card).
The only card that I have that I know how to see the code is my US Bank Visa card when you download the excel spreadsheet of your transactions it has the code on there. I don't think I've ever used that card for groceries though. But maybe my other cards have the ability to see the code and I just don't know it.

Oh man, that really sucks! They don't even have discount gas like Cosco, it's just a gas station in the same parking lot as the grocery store. Same as Walmart gas stations. I didn't even realize that they were going to nerf that, I must have missed that part.
I don't think I got an email about this at all. If I got a letter, I must not have opened it. I don't always open my statements since I get them online, so I may have thought it was a statement and didn't open it. I wouldn't have known at all if I hadn't seen it on here. It would have really made me mad if I continued using the card for months before noticing my rewards weren't adding up very fast.
They just lost a lot of transaction fees from me, that's for sure. I will still use it at actual grocery stores, but told my wife to stop using it at Walmart and for gas, and to switch the AMEX blue cash everyday for now for everything for her to keep it simple.
A few gas station data points for the AAA Travel Advantage card since the nerf:
Meijer: 1%
Sam's Club: 0% Yes, you read that right. Zero cash back at Sam's.
Murphy's: 5% This one surprised me but I am tickled that it is still giving 5%
Kroger: haven't tried yet, but I expect it to only return 1%
