Two months ago, I applied for Zync and BCE, which got backdated to 1998, making my AAoA jump from 1.7 to 3.0, but my score has not changed with this recent jump and I thought it would. Anyone have any insight on this?
Are they both reporting yet? Amex sometimes takes a while to report.
Yes, they are both reporting already, that's why I found it weird that there was no score boost.
Do you have any baddies?
It is possible you are rebucketed. FICO score is actually calculated by comparing you to a group of people who has similar credit experience. Since your AAoA has increased, it is possible you are now being compared against group of people who has longer AAoA (and potentially better off than you).
No baddies at all, everything clean.
I see what you mean, I guess that must be it
I sure hope so Crashem
Thanks everyone for the input!
Let us know one way or another. I curious and not that many opportunities to test it out.

No problem, I will let you know after a week or so.
Mine AA0A changed from 5 to 6 yesterday but score did not change. I will also report if my score changes in a week or 2.
