Did you burn Amex?

But yes applying and not getting a HP says Blacklisted

Your EX score is high enough for an approval of course that's only one factor to be considered

Yes a couple of CO's eight years ago. I just apped, no HP, immediate denial, "because AMEX cancelled my previous accounts." Not that big a deal, figured I was. Can one become an AU while being blacklisted?

If your DW tries to add you as AU and the system doesn't allow it, it likely means the unpaid CO (i.e. blacklisted).  Typically, depending on the timeframe this occurred, the CO and/or the amount, some folks can fall through the cracks and be able to be added as AU.  But, if IIB and/or unpaid COs, then likely not.  Only way to test this is whenever your DW attempts to add you as AU.

For sure

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

No BK, unpaid CO's. Will have to see if I can be added as an AU, not super important. She may stress, a little paranoid of her 865 score, whatever...

Starting Score: 589/599/598 5/8/14
FICO® Score 8: EX 788 TU 791 EQ 785 05/09/23
Goal: Was 740 across all bureaus. DONE!
