Hello!

My girlfriend has a prequal offer for the Everyday & Blue Cash Everday. This is through the website, how solid are these? Her EX is only 644, TU 673 EQ 613. I cant even get a prequal and my scores are all higher! Do you think she has a shot at it?

AFAIK, their pre-quals are pretty solid.   I got approved for BCE when I had a 673 EX.  But profiles vary.   if she has low UTIL, they seem favorable to that.

Re: AMEX BCE Score Required

I applied (and was approved) for the BCE and PRG cards last month with Scores of 640 across the board.

I was only approved for $1000 on the BCE - So I wouldn't set my expectations too high with the BCE starting limit.

If she is prequalified for it, then I'd say she has a really good chance of being approved.  I would also suggest applying for the PRG if she is approved for the BCE.  They are both great cards with fantastic rewards.

Pretty solid. Amex is still reeling  from the Costco exit. This is the best time to app. GL

Re: AMEX BCE Score Required

Your girlfriend should go for it. I applied last month and was approved for the PRG and BCE. My scores were around 660.  I was just checking the prequal page and it showed that I was prequal for the green, the everyday and the everyday preferred. Something in my gut just told me to go for what I really wanted and I applied for the prg - instantly approved. After celebrating for about 4 hours straight once I calmed down I thought to myself I should just go for the BCE since I really wanted that card too.  Went back in and applied - instantly approved. My starting limit on the BCE is only $1,000 but I'm confident that they will increase me after a little bit experience with payments. Keep us posted let us know if she goes for it or not!
