Yup! I noticed each time I add the 14 year old AMEX account, it gives me an additional 168 months. That raises my AAoAs each time.
My new card arrived today with the 1997 member since year.

Length of history includes three factors and makes up 15% of your overall score (3rd highest impacting factor).
