AMEX CLI Question

I've had my two statements, and my 61 days will be on Sunday for my AMEX Delta card. I'm planning on requesting the CLI next week. Since I've had my card I've been making 2 payments per month, leaving the card with about  $100 bal.  I was getting ready to make a payment, but was wondering if I should wait to make a payment after The CLI request.

Next payment is due on 6/20.

Making a payment now vs next week shouldn't make a difference.  They'll base their decision on their internal scoring of how you've used the account and "other factors," including the last credit score they pulled for you on Experian.

Thanks for the feedback. Off to pay my card I go. Hopefully I've done good these past two month and get that CLI.

They dont mind that you have balance when you requested CLI but they see the whole picture of your credit profile and internal score. What  your FICO score all across 3 CRA? I had balance 30%ish when I requested 61 days CLI back then.
