AMEX CLI

Does anyone know?

I requested a CLI with AMEX for 2500 online and was approved. Now let's say I would have entered 5,000 if the system declines it, would it approve you for less like the 2500? Or would it just decline you? Just asking for the next time Smiley Happy

Re: AMEX CLI

They do not counter, so the best thing to do would be to call up and ask for a CLI on the phone- for my first one I didn't want to be too greedy or make it too high,  so I asked the rep what he thought would be very likely to be approved- he gave me the number and I said ok do it. It went through.
