I'm not sure when the last time I asked for a CLI was on either of my cards.
The way I tell with Amex is that each time I try for a CLI (so far all denials) they immediatly send me an email. I keep those messages, and then when I know I'm getting close to 90 days I can go back and look up the exact day.
To calculate 90 days, I use the following site:
http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html
Using the tool on the website factors in the exact number of days in each month (28, 29, 30, or 31).
Wow thanks UncleB.
That was great info. I couldn't remember if they had sent me an email when I requested before, as I was going to look in my history to see if was in there but didn't know for sure. Now I have confirmation of this, so I checked my emails but unfortunately my deleted emails only go back about 5 weeks.

Just curious why they asked me to call, only to be told I was denied, and that I wouldn't be able to find out why until I received the letter.
Interesting. That's two - and the only - examples we've seen of this denial reason. I wonder if they have now gone back to the 61 day rule?
That's an excellent point...
It will be interesting to see if other folks report the same experience!
