Re: AMEX Everyday or Everyday preferred.?

I applied for the Everyday Preferred last night and was instantly approved with a $4,400 CL. My EQ FICO from myfico is 677. Credit Karma says 697, and the TU FICO provided to me by Barclaycard is 730, so there is quite a bit of discrepancy there.

I was pleasantly surprised i got approved because i had just opened two other cards in the past two months (Chase Freedom and Barclaycard Arrival). I also had applied for Amex Blue Sky back in September and had been denied. Seems like everything is okay now!

One annoying thing is that Amex does not tell you your CL or APR upon acceptance. You have to call them during business hours to see what you even got appoved for. Obviously a lot of us are also at work during business hours, so this can be a hassle.

Amex Everday Preferred $4.4k, Barclaycard Arrival $4k, Chase Freedom $3k, Chase Slate $1.8k, Capital One Quicksilver $1.3k, Kohl's $1k, Victoria's Secret $1.2k

Re: AMEX Everyday or Everyday preferred.?

I was approved for the Delta Gold on Monday and I'm considering the Everyday card with points. I already have two cash back cards, 1 travel card, and now I want a card using points I can redeem for merchandise and hotels. Should I apply and if so will it be another hard pull?

Up to you if you should but it will be a HP if approved.

Re: AMEX Everyday or Everyday preferred.?

I have the Amex Corp card which I use for business travel - spend about $10-12k per month.  I log in and see card offers and the Amex Everyday comes up.  Does this mean it is a pre-approval?  Should I app?  Thanks in advance

Once I got the bonus I PC'ed to BCE, went from 1500 --> 4500 at 61x.  Good luck!

Thanks sucks it'll be another HP. I guess I'll garden for awhile and apply at my 61 day mark.

Re: AMEX Everyday or Everyday preferred.?

Just app'd 2 nights ago, got the Everyday Preferred, $11,800.  When I'm wondering about the odd credit line, I looked at my existing Blue which is $12,200 which adds up to $24,000.  But I'll end up moving most of the Blue CL over since the Blue card is useless for me.

Re: AMEX Everyday or Everyday preferred.?

I plan to apply for the Everyday Pref too.. and move the limit over from the Blue. Does anyone know how long it takes I get the Everyday before I can call about transferring limits from the blue?
