It is available as soon as I hit submit. I did it once and charged it right back up and though it would get declined but it did not. I am surprised they do this since there is no way for them to be able to see if you actually have the money that fast.

Re: AMEX FR

Sometimes I PIF multiple times before the statement cuts, just because I'm usually pretty busy and don't want forget a payment. Amex seems to not have no problme with it.

Re: AMEX FR

***old thread alert***

But to give an opinion on the subject as long as your paying your bill on time and in full I would not worry at all about an FR.

Re: AMEX FR

AMEX gave me low 2K limit but My first payment just cut and it had a $1200 balance. Aso the card itself has $400 limit left since I've used it a lot for grocery shopping.

Should I stop using it? I don't want to trigger FR. Also wondering what is a good spot utilization wise to remain in so that I don't raise any flags ? I'm not sure they'll be so happy to see my CSP reporting tomorrow with $8000 credit used out of 10K (even though I'm going to pay it in full)

I usually pay once I receive the statement and always pay in full.

Also weird thing is AMEX hasn't soft pulled me even once after their initial approval which was hard inquiry for the application
