AMEX GOLD TO PLAT

Just PC from Gold to Plat. I was offered 100,000 bonus points and a $150 statement credit if I spend 6,000 within 6 months. 5x on restaurants / supermarkets in the first 6 months as well. I'm just hoping that because I "PC" doesn't mess up my bonus. I don't know why I have this lingering in the back of my head lol.

Congrats on the upgrade and spectacular upgrade bonus.  As long as it was an upgrade bonus, you qualify for everything stated.  You just wouldn't qualify for a public new account bonus if doing a PC.

Yeah, that's been going around for a while. I took it because I'm aced out of Platinum SUBs anyway, though it's likely I will carefully just keep the CS Plat that was offering 100k + 10x dining/Shop Small and downgrade it back to a Gold a little after a year past the upgrade...

@notmyrealname23 - my understanding is that there is no downgrade option on the Charles Schwab Platinum as there are no CS-specific Gold cards issued (same for the GS and MS versions). The 'vanilla' Platinum has the downgrade options to Gold and/or Green, though.
