To confirm that htey play with our minds, I logged on to my account once and I had a pre-approval for a Platinum Amex when I already had one. Seconds later when I tried to go back to the page, it was gone.

Well the weirdest thing of all? My $4k CL BCE has a 'check your spending limit' link. I would hope that I can spend up to $4k only?
Would that be a 'DUH' moment for AMEX?

i hit it when i bought my laptop and for the down payment on my boat
Discover's luv button does the same thing... appears, disappears, and shows up in strange places. Plus, it's sometimes replaced by the hate button... "Request a Credit Line Decrease." Yeah, I'll get right on that.
