AMEX MSD question

My wife recently got the ED card, and we used chat to successfully get it backdated to 2008 which is when she had an AMEX with a big company she use to work for. Really simple process, and only took about 5min using chat. I also recently got the Costco TE, and while on the card it states MSD of 2014 when I log in it states MSD 2012. I had a Zync before. So do I need to chat to make sure it has been backdated or since it states 2012 on my account it has automatically been done?

Thanks

Re: AMEX MSD question

You could double check and ask a new card be sent with correct member date.

Re: AMEX MSD question

sweet!

The card was automatically backdated, but the card they sent showed 2014. I had the chat person double check and confirmed it showed MSD of 2012, and they are sending me a new card with the correct MSD on it.

Re: AMEX MSD question

I know, that would be awesome!

I sure wish I had opened an AMEX back when I started, or been an AU on one. Be awesome to have one backdated 12 years or longer like many others here.

I look forward to backdating in the future.

Re: AMEX MSD question

Do chat and ask to have your MSD match your wifes. May take a few trys, but you will get it done. Worked first try for my wife. Nothing wrong with asking.
