How did it work out with getting Hamilton tickets?
I was in Bangkok and called them to rent a car in a different province in Thailand..... they got it done in no time.... saved me hours. I think if you use them for something basic like restaurant reservations, etc. it may not seem special, but to be in a different country and needing special services they are great.
I had them track down a fairly obscure foreign film. They found it from a merchant that would ship to the USA when I could only find it from merchants that only shipped within the EU.
@Anonymous wrote:Those of you with the Amex Platinum card, have any of you guys ever tried using the concierge service? What requests have you done or heard of people doing, any stories? Are there any tips and "secrets" of the ins and outs of using the concierge service that some of us should know? Apparently its a free complimentary service, I'm wondering whats the best way to make use of it!
I guess if $450 a year is free then, yes, it is free. I've never used the service myself. I'm so pedestrian and live such a boring existance that the occassion hasn't arisen for me yet.

"No additional cost for the concierge service" would be a better way to put it. You have to pay the card's AF and the cost of whatever goods or services from third parties the concierge arranges for you.
I think OP's thinking is that if a person already gets $450 of value from other (more popular) perks, it can feel like a free additional perk.
