Re: AMEX Question

Does your offer include 0% on purchases? AMEX typically only does BT on Card opening, as a combo 0% for BT and 0% purchases, and then never again.

Is is this a new card offer?

Re: AMEX Question

Check your Schumer box. If the 0% applies to both BTs and purchases, you should be okay.

Technically purchases would lose their grace period, but there would be no interest as long as all balances are at 0% and you make the minimum payments due.

This is assuming you have no balances in Plan It. Plan it would involve interest.

Assuming we're talking about EDP, the EDP terms as of 9/30/17 are here: https://www.americanexpress.com/us/content/pdf/cardmember-agreements/amex-everyday-preferred/Amex_Ev...

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

AFAIK my Blue Cash has been the only card ever to have the Plan It feature show up for purchases. None of my other cards have ever had the option, including my new EveryDay card.
