Fingers crossed for you! Your at the highest level now so its go time lol!

The status has been changed from "Declined" to "In Progress" so i guess that its being looked over.....hopefully it works out...would be really cool.

Thats a good thing!! They are manually reviewing it! I'd give them a call!!

The lady said she was sending it to be reviewed and Id get a call (or see a status change) within 24 hours or so...

Sounds like you will get it. Went through the same process as well. They approved me for a business card. I hated the card (it was ugly lol) So I applied for the Zync personal card. They declined me. REALLY LOL. I call the executive line and explained my situation to them, and they approved me for the Zync within 24 hours. I then closed the Business card. AMEX is really great when you call the Executive Line.

Current Scores: EX - 728 FICO (5/11/13) TU - 771 FICO (7/02/13) EQ ??

Current Cards: Chase Freedom $5,000, CSP $5,700, BofA Visa Signature $15,000, AMEX BCE $6,000, Walmart $4,150, Gap Visa $10,000, JC Penny $5,800, Lowes $8,500, Dillard's AMEX $8,000, AMEX Hilton HHonors - $2,000, Chase United $12,000, Citi AAdvantage & Simplicity $6,000/$6,000, SPG AMEX $1,000

Yeah i really hope so. I dont even care if its a low limit. I just want a card for my new business ive started to put expenses on and keep seperate from my personal stuff. Id take a low limit and CLI later on as opposed to take a hard hit and get nothing and get a higher limit in a month or two down the road.

Re: AMEX Using Old Credit Report...Will They Recon?

I wonder if they HP during this review and im still declined...would i be able to ask them to consider me for the Green Business charge card from that same HP perhaps?

I already have a personal AMEX Green....and i got it about 7+ months ago...so i know my scores must have gotten at least marginally better since then!

Re: AMEX Using Old Credit Report...Will They Recon?

Well, it was changed back to "Declined" this morning...but in the decline letter it still says they used a report from February....Its actually the same exact  one from before. So im thinking i wasnt hard pulled?

What do you guys think?

http://www.experian.com/reportaccess/

Request My Credit Report > Yes to Adverse Action > Put American Express and the date you applied

This will get you a free credit report from Experian since you were denied of credit within 60 days.
