AMEX- What the heck. CLI denied....then....approved?

LOL,

Hey guys.  Well I posted a few days ago about me requesting CLI on my AMEX Blue.  I got the letter in the mail today, saying I was denied for various reasons.

So, bummer I thought.  2 out of 3 isn't bad (got 2 cli from my other cards), so take my losses.  Then, I made my final payment of $1,170 today at 4pm.  This PIF my balance, and my card is now at 0! So, I check AMEX's website, and under available credit, it says 3500.  My limit was 3200 keep in mind.  So, the 1,170 hasn't posted yet, so here is my thoughts:

-Either I got a:

CLI of 300

CLI of 1,400 or so

OR, I am insane and the 3200 was really 3500 all along.

AMEX, what are you doing to me!

Thanks,

kenny

I suppose so lol.

Either way, if it was the 1,400 CLI, whoohoooo.

Time to go get some dental work done.  Eeeeek.....

now don't you go and put dental expenses on your freshly cli'ed amex, lest you risk a reversal of fortune.

ps. i hope it's the 1400 but trust you'll take the 300 rather than the denial,  woohoo!

Not to dash your hopes just yet, but Amex usually already adjusts available credit when payments are pending but not yet visible in your account activity.
