Soooo, my 18 yr old daughter started college.
I just made her an AU on my AMEX BCP. They asked her SSN, d.o.b, and address. I know they will report to all 3 CRA's.
But now, I just made her an AU on my CHASE Sapphire and all they did was ask her name? No d.o.b., SSN, address, nothin. She has no credit history or score.
How will they find her?
Maybe I should have asked this question first.
Thanks all.
p.s. I don't intend on giving her the AMEX card. Mainly did it to estabish her backdating history with AMEX.
The CHASE will have a set spending limit with an alotted time frame. She's pretty good with HER money, but not so sure about someone elses'. lol.
They'll find her.
They found me. (AU on Wife's Chase Freedom.)

For Chase if she lives in the same household with your address it should report. Some GE / SYNC accounts report if they have the same address.

I could easily be wrong, but I thought AMEX changed their policy in that it doesn't consider backdating for AU's, only the primary cardholder.

I got in on this before they closed the door on it.

So they did change the backdating policy?
Does anyone know when the AU backdating officially ended? Made my GF an AU on mine, but didn't know about this.
