AMEX backdating

I just was approved for an AMEX BCP.  If I have my parents add me as an AU on theirs and get their "member since", will it change my "member since" on my BCP?

AU cards do not get backdating.

Great minds think alike. I was just hoping for the same thing. I guess I will have to settle for new BCP card, no matter how new it is.
