AMEX diffferent payment accounts for each card

I currently pay all my AMEX cards from one bank account. If setup a second bank account for one of my cards will it be remembered and used as the default each time I make a payment for that card?

You'll still have to choose which bank account to pull the payment from if you have more than one listed.

simplynoir is correct. Some of mine that I only pay from one account still ask.

Login from a computer and go to the payment account setup for the new card. It will have saved accounts from other cards in your portfolio.

It’s treated as a new account even if it’s carried over from a different card. So the payment restrictions will be in place for the first 30 days. Atleast in my experience
