Re: Amex extending SUB's by 3 months due to COVID-19

I have three reoccurring bills that do not accept Amex, as well as my Rental Agent's payment portal. So when it comes to larger SUB spends I stay with MC so that I can use it on all of them. Because without those few I'd never come close to spending $4k in three months, on one card anyways. Especially considering certain categories I try to keep spend there. Because I earn 6% on grocery and streaming etc. I do my best not to divert from it.

I'm glad more and more credit card companies are starting to do this. Thanks for the info.

I saw this a few dats ago! Pretty sweet deal.

I’ll meet my sub next month for my green card but had I seen this earlier I would’ve stretched it out.

I haven't seen anything about upgrade offers. Might be worth reaching out to Amex and asking.

If you were approved for an AMEX card between 12/1/19 and 5/31/20 they are extending the usual 3mo SUB timeframe by 3 months. Might be a good time to apply if you would have had a hard time meeting a SUB in 3 months since you now have 6 months to do it.amexsub.jpg

Now thats sweet.

Nothing like a nice slow burn SUB.....Smiley Happy

Nice this is also for new applications through 5/31. You could stretch that SUB through Black Friday if you so desired.

Not that I gotten in over my head with a $1k minimum spend requirement, but it's nice.
