If I use the Request a Credit Line Increase button on American Express' website, will it be a soft or hard pull?

Soft but before you do, are you aware of the parameters for requesting a CLI with AMEX ?

Generally you can request a CLI 61 days after you receive the card for 3 times your credit limit. After that you have to wait 181 days to try again. Here a thread that explains it very well
OP, which AMEX revolver (or revolvers) do you have?
When did you open the account?
What is the CL now?
Have you ever requested a CLI for this card?
Soft pull

The linked post has everything you need about Amex CLIs. The only update I have seen a few people post is that there is no longer a 60 day lockout after opening your account to ask for a CLI. While I cannot confirm it, it might be worth trying since any decline due to ineligibility to ask for a CLI due to timeframes will not delay the first day of eligibility for your CLI.

I can. Both myself and g/f got our 3X increase at 52 days. There have been quite a few others reporting the same. In fact, there was a person that posted that he/she got theirs 10 days after approval.
I used the online request and got the 7-10 message so I new I was denied the increase so I called customer service and asked, the lady said wether it be online or a phone call, its always a hard pull.
