AMEX

I called a month ago about combining Hilton amex with blue cash. Was told accounts have to be open for 6 months. Fast forward to today and now I am told it is 12 months to combine. Amex certainly is not what it used to be. I get less hassle and more consistent information from just about every other bank.  I do not get it.   It is almost to the point of closing all my amex cards.

Re: AMEX

I always thought the donor card had to be at least 13 months (or 13 statements), and the other card had to be at least 60 days?

That's what it meant when I got the Green Card back in the dark ages.
