I'd far rather have a partner who is spending money on a myFICO subscription than literally hundreds if not thousands of other things that I could think of.
I'd be down for myFICO and chill, just sayin'.
I wonder how common that is. Over the years, I've seen here comments like
1) My partner isn't interested and thinks I am weird for being interested in this
2) My partner isn't interested but appreciates the rewards so doesn't mind
There are certainly some cases where a pair actively participates together but I don't think I've seen
"My partner is just as interested as I am"
Maybe that's because, to be fair, it's really not THAT interesting! How many lifetime discussions can you have about "MR vs UR" (Answer is 2043)
Listen, I understand you're jealous, but it's not fair trying to ruin my non-existent eRelationship before it even started.
If you really think about it...I'd be around less. If that ain't a win, nothing is.
Went on website and tried to make a payment. Have no idea where to go but decided to set up alerts.Used the AOD CC app and paid it there easy but could not set up alerts. Then I get an alert that my savings went to zero?!
I wouldn't be opposed to the card clamping down on MS and just allowing 3% on purchases (ie no rewards on Plastiq charges, etc. - if that ever became the issue). I really don't think that's against the reward terms they've laid out and would be fully justified given the alternative.

The AOD website to set up alerts doesnt actually work, even if you do find the right settings page
. I tried it, nothing while pending, nothing while posted. Might be best to use the visa website directly, as others mentioned in the other thread. I think this type of CU app sends push alerts for core banking products, but not lending products.

For many kinds of MS, rewards on purchases are the issue.
This thread reminds me all the cliches:
Here today, gone tomorrow
It was good as long as it lasted
Remeber when.....
A flash in the pan
The horse as left the barn
That's the way the cookie crumbles
The flood gates have opened
and on an on.....Deader than a doornail

My FICO and chill ... LMAO

@redpat I don't think so, sounds more like you're talking about US Alliance, and even those who got in are still receiving their 3%.
Take another look at the approval thread, the DP's suggest AOD is doing the opposite by taking in new customers and ramping up advertising of the card despite our MF wave. That can certainly change if DOC peeps ratchet up the apps, but despite some degree of tightening on SL's, there are still some large limits getting handed out. I'm not seeing the signs of them stopping this card anytime soon.

I wouldn't read too much into that though, especially the advertising. With many issuers, we have seen marketing campaigns lag events (money has been spent so it goes ahead anyway etc) and also, though probably more with big banks, approvals getting eventually reversed by another group.
Again I have no idea if AOD really has a good model on this but remember that the card is new, many of the signups are new, and most people won't have had even two statements. If there is a problem, it will show up when the financial group discover that reward payments far exceed income from the card, and that will take a few months to become clear.
