So is "Pending Follow-Up" better than "Under Review?"
I listed DoorDash as Self-Employment and I make around $750 or so a week (29 hours a week for the last few weeks consistantly). I chatted with one of the CSRs before I app'ed and they said if I provide an offical sheet that states I am an independent contractor with them, along with my weekly earnings and bank statements that receive the direct deposit, it will absolutely count as income. So for anyone working with Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, DoorDash, etc., just get an offical sheet from them by emailing them and you should be okay.
I think?
Hopefully this time they'll approve me.
Good Luck!
@MoneyBurns, Good Luck and please keep us updated.

Thank you!!!
AOD just sent me a docusign for proof of income and I just sent it out to them. I'm assuming they'll approve me since they sent over a docusign to send back to them. Or not. We'll have to see!!!!!

@MoneyBurns, Good luck on getting card. Hopefully approved before April 1st. That's when SUB ends.

It's looking like a no on AOD. In the email conversation they cited DTI as the reason. I come up with 28% based on my rent, car payment and minimum payments on credit cards. I pay in full mostly but that is how they calculate it right? I asked them what number they arrived at and what their threshold is. 28% doesn't seem high to me. Maybe I'll get lucky and I can add some data.

Do you have student loans? Are they considering all your income? Those are things that affect their DTI calculations.
Yes I have a couple small student loans. I specifically asked about that as well. Hoping to get an answer to at least some of my questions but I feel like it will just be a generic thanks for your interest type of thing. Will update when I know more.
Also I only put in my regular pay. I have side jobs throughout this year but no way to prove them until tax time.

Will they approve you for the platinum since you got the HP hit anyway. I remember reading in one of the AOD threads that someone got a Platinum was able to upgrade the the Signature after some history with AOD. From their website's landing page it looks like the Platinum Visa would also get the $50 SUB. If it's just a DTI issue, the underwriting might not be as strict with the Visa Platinum card.

Don't really need that kind of card. I'll find something 2% that pulls TU if my Hail Mary email doesn't work. Just filling some roles without apping for 20 cards. Then hitting snooze til next summer. Looking to buy a house. Plus I have a promotion coming up in the coming months.
