i wish chase did that. i have a discover more. i am a bit confused on my APR i think it said 22.99% and 3.99% for the first 6 months. but when i checked app status it said 14.99 for BT after 6 months.
I have a Discover More that started out at $1k. I just received my 6th statement, requested a CLI, and received it. ![]()
I received an auto CLI at the 3rd statement. From $1k to $1,350.
I received another auto CLI at the 6th statement. From $1,350 to $1,700.
I wasn't completely satisfied with the $1,700 limit so I called an spoke to a rep who upped it to $4k. Soft pull only.
My advice is to use the card as much as you can (I averaged monthly $900 in charges and 30 transactions). Pay the balance off in full, or as much as you can, before the statement is generated. Also when the 5th statement comes it's time to bring your overall credit utilization down. Get all account balances as low as possible so by the time that 6th statement comes, your reports will look nice.
That should do the trick. Oh, and try not to app for more credit before then or they might deny the CLI. ![]()

I logged on tonight to check if my payment cleared and noticed they increased my limit from $2,000 to $2,750. Very unexpected. I just acquired the card at the end of June and have already received my first CLI.
ok so it seems like that they give CLIS when ever they want and they seem to be pretty good too.
Awsome!
You now have 25 credit cards with an AAoA of .25 months and total CL of $2200
You're well on your way, now! ![]()
