so i am going to close my cap1 card after the BT happens so i dont have to pay another $40 in DEC

will they waive the AF? What other cards u thinking about cutting? Do any of them have AF?

I can see if they do. I plan on cutting my other cap1 and maybe bby next year or so

I don't blame you. You've got plenty of cards, and if this one has an AF and is no longer going to be serving a useful purpose, you might as well close it. It will still remain on your reports to be factored into your AAoA for 10 years. Enjoy your new Discover and move on -- just make sure to pay down the Discover after the BT.
