The cards I'm an AU on have more attractive rewards. If I start using those two cards with my GF to rack up rewards and don't carry balances on the cards I am actually a real holder of, will it slow the progression of my credit score down?
The thing about 08 fico scoring now , they really don't take into account AU accounts as much as earlier models did. Mine AU accounts are pretty much ignored for utilization purposes.

When you say utilization purposes do you mean available credit? Like if you have 10k of cards in your name and 10k in AU does it only show up as 10k or does it show up as 20k for available credit?
This is what happened to me i have Two AU accounts costco amex and crappy WF card. I have freedom , BCP, CSP, IT, and wally that are all mine. I thought i could just have my costco amex report like 100 bucks i think it came out to something like 2% utilization so i thought. When I got my SW and fico score i took an big ding. About 30 points my score went down because Fico thought i had 0% utilization, it didn't factor in my amex tu account at all.

No. Utilization is balance(s) / limit(s). Available credit is factored into utilization but they're not the same thing.

What shows up on your reports doesn't change. It's what a given creditor and/or scoring model factors in.
