If it were me apping i would ask my self am i planning on traveling if the answer is yes then would app for premeir since you can use those to transfer to 8 travel partners and get up to 1.6 cents per point with AA or w/e.
Isn't 1.6 just Prestige ?

ooops you could be right .
Personally it depends on what you spend, like if its a lot of dining, entertainment, and travel the premier might be better since it gives 3x on dining and entertainment vs 2x. Premier does have the AF but its also a VS. Prefferred though would be the way to go if you wanted to finance a purchase or do a BT since it has the 0% interest for 12 mos and has a 0% BT transfer intro. Otherwise the besides the signing up bonuses and the other things listed theres nothing really different.

The Preferred is also a VS or WMC, no? And in any case, wouldn't be worth paying $126 AF just for that!
But the transfer really makes the difference now, lile the difference between the CS and CSP for example.

Do you have a Thank You Visa or a Thank You Preferred Visa? I believed all Preferred were VS or WMC. But maybe that stopped when they eneded the plain Thank You.
