If and when the rules change, you will still be an AU, you'll be able to use the account as before, I understand that the account will still be listed on your CR, it just won't be factored in your FICO scores.
Although it does appear that several posters saw their AmEx AU accounts vanish from their credit reports --seems like about 2 1/2 weeks ago? It appears that AmEx decided to stop reporting the AU accounts. Presumably the cards still work--I think we would have heard the howls by now.
I was amazed to find that I am an AU on my 19-year-old's Gap card --I never even realized. It's not on any of my reports (which is good!)

I think (?) the original post was by oneloveforall, and it happened to Timothy's DW also. I never did find out for sure whether onelove's came back, but per Timothy, his DW's TL's stayed gone.
In general, I can handle businesses rearranging things every now and then, but you'd think they could a least send a generic e-mail or something. I just don't like surprises much at my age!Still haven't completely recovered from the bucket shocker.
