Account info

I hope someone has the answer to this. Is it normal for a credit card company to ask for your bank acct. # and routing # on the application. This is definitely the first time I have encounterd this.

Re: Account info

I was searching for cards for people with not so good credit and ran across a card called First Option Visa. When it asked for my acct # and routing # i aborted the application.

Re: Account info

That is a secured card and requires a deposit from your bank account. If you are looking for a secured card, I would recommend checking out bank of Americas secured visa.

Re: Account info

Yes, Go to www.bankofamerica.com/creditcards/ and click on Build your credit. The minimum deposit required is $300, but you will get that back in 9-12 months when the card goes unsecured.
