Conservative lads they are indeed.
The British, they do a lot of talking but never close.
When I closed my account the girl on the phone chuckled after asking me why. Like she understood. They are friendly people in my experience, but their algorithms are too strict.

Do they speak with a cool British accent?? :-)
Nah no accent
They did it to me a couple of times. So, that is the one and only card I never pay off monthly. I don't really have much on it so the interest isn't a whole lot. Why do I do it that way? Just because it's Barclay. They could offer me an amazing card with a $50k CL and I would say no thanks.
Barclays or not, I would happily take 50k from them. Especially if it comes with 0% whatever promos!😃

Nah think about that grill, that'd be 50k that youd enjoy for a week before they cld you to like 50 O K
LOL! True...

Basically anyone that has the desire for a Barclays card should make that 1 app a dream app and dont plan to app anything else for at least a year. Tuff to do and utterly ridiculous to try and force that on those who are trying to better their credit but still want a BC, CHASE they are not.
This is excellent advice! And I agree - Barclay is paranoid!
At the end of the day, it is they that grant the credit so they can take it away. If it were me, I would call the backdoor and speak with them.
