Hi ,
I am currently working to build my credit from EXP 721 FICO . Vantage score EQU 649 and TransUnion 714.
Short credit history, currently working on it. AVG. credit age 4 years.
First CC Petal 1 visa - limit 700
Second CC Capital One Venture One - limit 2,000.
I pay on my credit cards weekly. I always stay under 10% before charging more.
I am looking for an every day CC.
Preapproved for AMEX Blue cash every day card, blue cash preferred card, and gold card.
Preapproved through Chase Bank app for the Chase freedom unlimited CC.
Aunual income - 118,000, self employed
I want to make sure I am building onto my credit journey in the right way. I would love some advice on a third credit card to add.
My goal would be to have one travel card and one every day card. EXP: Chase Sapphire, preferred card and the Chase freedom unlimited card. OR AMEX Gold card and Blue cash preferred card.
I am Planning on traveling more for pleasure and work starting next year.
I would love advice on how to build my CC stack, any helpful tips and tricks.

Either the BCE or the CFU would be an excellent next card. The BCE is probably a little easier to get.
Thank you for the advice!

True.
But.
Long term, look at if you are more interested in a points or a cash back lineup. AmEx Gold is points, and BCE is cashback, and the twain do not meet. Over at Chase, the Sapphire cards can work in concert with the CFF, the CFU, and the Ink cards, to all pool together into either points or cashback.
Also, if you're interested in Chase, that's something you should start doing sooner rather than than later in your credit journey, due to their 5/24 rule (they will only approve you for new cards when you have had less than 5 new cards opened in the last 24 months). Look into what a Chase Trifecta (or Quadfecta) is.
Both issuers are cornerstones of the industry and you can't go wrong, and you CAN pick both. Just do it in the "right order". For what it's worth, AmEx customer service blows Chase out of the water in my experience.
The future plan is to have at least two from AMEX and two from Chase.
right now, the approval odds are better for AMEX. Although, when I log into my Chase portal, I am offered the Chase freedom unlimited.
right now, I really need an every day card/ cards. The BCE or BCP Lineup a little better with my categories usage. (groceries, gas, online shopping retail)
Ultimately, I need every day cards, but also a card to start earning points for travel as well.
I want to make sure I'm doing everything in the right order. So I don't miss a chance with either AMEX or Chase.
thank you for the advice!

I stand by my recommendation of getting your Chase cards early due to 5/24. The CFU is a fine everyday card, and if you decide later you don't need it for the 1.5%, you should be able to product change it to a CFF.
Also, check into your local Chase branch and see what in-branch offers they may have available for you. I was able to get 5% gas and 5% grocery on my new CFF (for the first year) as part of my welcome bonus by opening in branch. (I do not have any checking or savings with Chase, just credit cards.)
Okay! I will check with a chase branch first and go that route before Amex !
