Adding an Additional Amex - Any Suggestions?

I am looking to open another Amex, because I may eventually close my PRG.  The BCP has pretty much become my everyday card.  I haven't seen anything else that appeals to me, but I want to make sure I am not missing something obvious.  I know that there are various airline/hotel cards, but I don't think they would benefit me.  I also wouldn't have use for Costco.

It looks like the EveryDay card wouldn't be a bad choice, but I don't fully understand the points system.  Is this a decent card?  Does it offer any benefits that I don't get from my BCP?  If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Just throwing it out there, but if I were in your situation, probably the Everyday card since it has membership points.  The next best choices would probably be Hilton Honors or Blue Sky?

It depends if you can sensibly use the MR points you earn on that card (and that you should have from the PRG).    If you do 20 swipes a month, on any purchase (except grocery) you get 1.2 MR per $.   As people value MR at around 2c, that is pretty good, 2.4% on uncategorized spend.   Alternatively, consider the Everyday Preferred, which gives 1.5MR per $ after 30 swipes, and downgrade your BCP to BCE.

But again, this only makes sense if you can use MR by transferring them to partners.   Otherwise, it is just a cashback card with fairly low returns.
