Adding to secured credit line or getting second secured...

I have an opinion to ask... Would you A. Get another secured card... maybe a mastercard? 500 (limit) or add to existing credit line??? (same amount).

I already have one secured card and looking for another for the positive timeline... or just add to the card I have for a higher limit.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

B. Add to existing card so as to show the same history but now with a higher limit and it didn't cost a HP there by reducing my AAoA

Of course the downside to this is some cards require a HP to add cash anyway

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Cool... I thought that would be the better choice... however, I am really trying to get that credit line up to about $5000. This is on my NFCU card. so my total CL will show 1000 at 1st statement. (Doesn't cut until the 14th).

I hate to play devils advocate here but with your scores being that low things like AAOA and Hard pulls really wont matter at this point. I would add another secured card like SDFCU or capital one and try to build a relationship with them. Yes they wont graduate but the only card that really does, BOA, is way out of the question at this point. Three cards is solid number but I would say adding one or two more will def help when your doing a recon so your file is not that thin.
