Adios Credit One

Some time back I said that I was going close credit one but I fitnally got around to it. I called one day last week but I still had a payment that hadn't posted and they offered me all this stuff to stay but I still wanted to close it. Told them to keep it open and I would close soon as my payment posted.

Noticed I had a credit before I closed it due to them refunding me a percentage of my annual fee or something (idk). So I have a $20.82 check on the way on top of my card being closed.

The day I was approved for my Nationwide Visa with a 10k limit, I called them & did the same.

That being said, no one chooses this as a first option, but I will say, this card did exactly as it was intended to do.  Help me rebuild.  As a rebuilder for someone with bad credit/low scores, it's a great choice because you *will* be approved.  I called their # often for increases & got that $100 every time.

Is it a keeper....no.  Is it the perfect starter?  You Betcha!!
