Thanks for clearing that up and I guess some people just do not understand online etiquette. I am happy we got this resolved just guys understand you all have probably been where we are and understand our frustrations so be patient with us. It's not always what you say but how you say it. We are learning from you all. And I do apologize for any inapproriate language I used or suggested butttttt. I still think they suck after experiencing what I have been reading about for the longest but I get it. Now if they choose to give me something I am surely gone take it. You all have a nice day.

Cardnal did not say Cap 1 suck I did... me..... I did and they do. That is my opinion and I am sticking with it. And they will give you more than 2 subprime cards I have 3. My scores are not all that good but I am working on it and being aggravated is a natural part of my process as I am sure some of you have been that way too. It seems that you all frown on those of us with less than scores but some of yours have been there too and you know the process so be patient with us. After all you're telling us to be patient well drink your own tea. Or simple don't comment. I just won't ask you people nothing else.
Took the words right out of my mouth. Like i said, my scores arent the best, but Im proud of the progrss Ive made.
I agree I am proud of where I have come from since 2011. Is it perfect? NO! Am I perfect no. When I was at 383 All I said was break 4. when I got to 400 all I said was break 500. Broke 500 now at 600. Now that I am close enough to break 700 I want to break 700. Its a journey we all have to take in one way or another. Some of us have fallen, tripped or even just gave up, but in the end we are a supportive forum who helps each other out!

Okay, you can dislike Cap One, and you can say that you should have been approved for whatever card because....
But, the fact remains that currently your scores say that you are a high risk...
Each lender looks at YOUR credit and makes a determination based upon what they see. I have been a member of this forum just short of 2 months. My starting scores are in my sig. Chase turned me down for the Freedom card...BoA (who I have been banking with for 15 years) turned down my request to unsecure my card..Barclay no join... Now I have all. It is your responsibility to make the changes. I am amazed at how personal members take decisions by lenders? I assure you, if you cleaned up baddies on your report and raised your score just 55 points, you might have seen a different result.
As a general note to everyone posting in this thread, sometimes a harsh truth can come across as not being within our "Friendly, Supportive, and Respectful" guidelines. Please use extra caution in wording reactions to make sure we stay within site guidelines.
That being said, I do agree that scores and profiles that appear "risky" will be treated as such by lenders. It's a business decision and most of us here have had unfavorable decisions at some point. It can be frustrating and disappointing, but it can also be a learning tool. If denied, get those free CRs and review. Review the denial letters and figure out the action that needs to take place.
I want to put my comment back a bit only in that I was not trying to be nasty or mean-spirited. However, I stand by what I said. When I first joined this site, I coined a phrase that I share with my offline friends and associates:" there are no victims in credit repair". We are where we are due to the decisions and circumstances that we have placed ourselves..be it internal or external forces.
I simply see it as, we operate at the the pleasure of the creditors...and they decide whether we get to enjoy the pleasure of their wares(credit cards). And when I stumbled for years and years, I never said, that they are "xxxxx" because they wouldn't do such and such..." However, I do understand that people have critiscm of various lenders' CSR techniques. I am aware of that, and that is fine. I hopefully will soften up and see things a different way.
I again don't desire to be someone that stands on the verge of getting banned or known as a d-bag..

I don't think anyone disagrees with your overall point but "OP don't take this the wrong way, BUT YOUR SCORES SUCK!! And they suck bad!!" could have been expressed in a better way thus the reminder about the FSR guidelines. It's not just your post but we don't want posters coming here and leaving because they feel that they are being attacked. Absolutely nothing wrong with pointing out the truth to posters about their scores, etc but all that can be conveyed in a friendly manner.
