No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Just received a survey asking about my experiences with the card. Always easy to read far too much into such things, but questions they asked include:
1) Re benefits (such as TSA Pre refund) would you like a feature where you could add or remove such benefits for a small fee. I presume this mens something like I could add TSA Pre for $X and not do so if I don't need it (but would the base AF reduce, probably not!)
2) How important is it to be able to transfer points to partners?
3) How important is crypto?
4) Would you be willing to transfer checking/savings/investment accounts to your credit card issuer for additional benefits.
ETA: Also a brief section where you are asked to explain your understanding of cashback vs points. Perhaps if you know too much your answers are ignored as "not typical"
oh so they are about to nerf it into the ground to push people to the simply.
I got the same survey. I am gonna cry if this card gets nuked. It is my favorite card. The questions certainly show they may be either A. Thinking about some type of new card to force us all into or B. Changing some things on the existing card which is essentially the same as A. Not a great year for a lot of cards the CSR, AR maybe and I have no doubt at some pound my other favorite card the VX. I guess we will all see here probably in a few months at best what they will do.
US Bank had sent surveys for the Smartly and Cash + as well.
Here are some screen shots:
I did the same survey. As you said, it is easy to read too much into I'm doing it anyway. I can't transfer from my Smartly, I certainly don't want to tranfer to/from crypto accounts.

After the great nerfing of the brand new US Bank Smartly Visa Signature Card ... what are they doing?

Here's what they want to hear:
"Oh yes, Mr US Bank, I'd be more than happy to put a million dollars into one of your zero interest checking accounts. In fact I'll move all my money over, as long as you give me a really pretty card and toss me an extra one or two percent scrap in cash back. Oh, and the benefits that come free with the card now, like Pre Check, I'd be more than happy to pay extra for."
They apparently think there's enough stupid people out there who can't do the math and like pretty things.

Well, we don't know that that's wrong! Love to see figures for the new smartly, are they getting sign ups....
In the past, we've seen people on this forum getting cards like the Amex Plat when it made no financial sense for them, because they got an offer and wow, that's a great card. So similarly a potential 4% might appeal to enough....
I was wondering why I did not recieve a survey. I checked my US Bank settings and I opted out off all marketing emails or texts. Altitude survey or the cash+ or smartly survey my answers would be the same the last response to each question. I have been looking for a travel card and at some point I will do more traveling. I was interested in the card(s) that had TSA Pre check fee re-imbursed. Then I learned that fee is charged once every four years and it is around $80.00 if my memory is correct. To spend roughly $400.00 to save around $80.00 makes no sense. There may have been other perks on the card that I had no interest in.
I received and particpated in this survey too (for USBAR). Tried to answer as best as I could in a "don't mess with this" way. No to crypto, no to points transfer, happy with card, blah, blah, blah. I feel they will change something, just hoping they leave it close to as is. My best card ever overall. Interesting they did not have that as an option about rating the card as is overall... Please USB just leave it alone.
