Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve app question

IIRC, you asked a similar question on the Altitude Reserved odds from a post not long ago:

It would be difficult for anyone to really predict your chances for an application months down the road. You'll have to pull the trigger to know for sure. As far as Capital One, that's really up to you to decide, the only thing that might change is a negligible portion of your overall or available credit (scoring TBD) should you decide to close them before your application.

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve app question

I am asking primarily about closing two accounts within months of applying for a new card. I just provided as much information as possible regarding my profile. I am aware of my prior post.

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve app question

Close the capital one card that is costing you money if your not getting any benefit out of it. Paying an annual fee to sit in the sock drawer is silly.

You're taking this USB AR app a little too serious IMO,  the worst thing that happens is that deny you, and you try again in a little bit. I understand you want the card but even if they do deny you. You have sufficent cards in the mean time.

I would just pull the trigger and if they approve you great, but I dont think a month would make a huge difference unless your credit reports changed drastically.
