Chase Freedom, Citi Forward, Citi Dividend, AMEX BCE, Penfed Rewards come to mind! you already have a great selection of cards though, so don't feel pressured that you need every card in the world! Chase Freedom would be helpful to pair with your JP Morgan Select card!

Depends what you spend it on and what you want!
For example, you don't have BCP which gives 6% on groceries, Penfed for 5% on gas, and a 2% card for "everything else" which isn't covered by other categories. Citi Forward for 5% at amazon as compared to Chase 3% (and forward gives 5% for dining and entertainment). Utilities (Chase Ink)? And if specific airlines/hotels are goals, you don't seem to have branded cards or travel cards from Amex/Chase/Citi
So, hard to answer without knowing the goal, but the answer is almost certainly "Yes, you are missing something"
Edit: beaten by others, and I forgot that the Select was basically the travel card, but then, as daybreak says, something like the Freedom is needed to push the points.
I thought freedom was a cash back card?

it is and it isn't.
Cash back card if you only have the Freedom card, if you couple it with a Sapphire or Ink then you can use the points however you want for travel etc.

+1 ...the AMEX BCP is our family workhorse...but for those with no other mouths to feed, one may have to make some non-grocery grocery store purchases to get the benefits of the AF.

I travel maybe once or twice a year nothing much. Alot of my purchases are gas, amazon, shopping, and general stuff. Nothing like groceries or anything. I really don't want another chase card as I have two already. I like chase and refuse to use citi.
Fine, but you asked about maximizing rewards. If you add constraints such "no more than 2 chase cards" and "no citi cards" you aren't going to maximize, especially if Amazon is part of your spending.
