AmEx CLI Request and received strange message

"our systems are updating and cannot process your request. Please resubmit your request in 24 hours". Has anybody else ever received this message?  This is my first CLI request

Try again and if you get same message just try tomorrow.  Sometimes systems do update :-)

Resubmitted and received the "written response in 7-10 days". I just got the card. Somebody suggested I request. No biggie if I don't get.
