If declined, how long would you wait to request another?

I requested one in December for 12k from 7k, and got declined over sufficient credit relative to my income.

Should I even bother? If I had qualified for anything extra would they have countered with it then?

Can't speak for the income to debt question as to whether or not they'd approve a CLI. But I do know you have to wait 90 days after a CLI decline to request another.

Hard to generalize but I was declined a CLI 90 days ago for sufficient credit to income. Tried again today same result. OK Amex I get it...I'll stop asking for more money
