AmEx Offer Question

Hello! I have a question about an AmEx offer. I have seen a few like this, but the one below is just an example. I have the Amazon Prime Business card, which earns points that can be redeemed at Amazon or for statement credits. I've been seeing AmEx offers mentioning Membership Rewards points in my offers page. I added this Olive Garden one to my card. I am assuming they mean I will earn Amazon points for the offer?

Re: AmEx Offer Question

Well, if the card earns Amazon points redeemable only at Amazon, then I think it is your duty to take your SO to Olive Garden and report back whether another set of MR points, a parallel earning points bucket, is added to the card.

Re: AmEx Offer Question

I would expect that is an AMEX IT mistake and should just say points.  Although I agree you have to try it and see if it gives you MR, that would be pretty amazing.

Oh how this hobby would love it if one could earn MR points from an Amazon card.
