AmEx PRG 50k With $1,000 Spending

When checking offers, I see the PRG is offered at 50k with $1,000 spending.  This is much lower than the $2,000 spending I've seen.

Very tempting.  But plan to wait out for the 75k or 100K Platinum.  With the once a lifetime, the offer should come back.

The Blue cards offers are good too.

I'm bummed. Got the PRG last week for 25K points with 2K spend. I'm going to wait a long time for the Platinum.

You can still do the PRG promotion and earn the Platinum bonus as well. It's one bonus a lifetime per product (PRG and PLAT are different products).

There have been 75k PRG offers. I don't recall the minimum spend.

Personal spend: Amex Gold, Amex Schwab Plat., BofA PR+CCR(x2), Costco
Business use: Amex Bus. Plat., BBP, Lowes Amex AU, CFU AU
Perks: Delta Plat., United Explorer, IHG49, Hyatt, "Old SPG"
Mostly SD: Freedom Flex, Freedom, Arrival
Upgrade/Downgrade games: ED, BCE
SUB chasing: AA Platinum Select

I've never seen a 75K PRG offer.

Only seen 25K, 50K and 65K (second year).

Re: AmEx PRG 50k With $1,000 Spending

I just stay low now and still have $4,000 spending to go with Barclay Cash Forward cards and family member's PRG.  Then the $3,000 on BA Premium Rewards.  Wait for holiday time to pick up either PRG or Plat.  Want the 50k on PRG and either 75k or 100k on the Plat.  Ritz is another option to add the spending.

Only one new card opened this year.  The goal is 2-3 new cards  a year.  Family member can apply too.

gosh 50K/$1K is a heck of a deal, the high point on that card is 65K I think.  I would snap it up, easy pickings. do a few ED referrals for 20K to make up the diff.  I did 2 CIP referrals this week and got 40K.  I love easy points

That really is a fantastic deal.  You can easily get 2 cents value per point transferring to airlines.  That makes it a 100% rewards rate on the bonus.

I wish I'd found this first.  I'm working on 50K points on my new PRG but I have to spend $2K to get it.

Amex PRG offer 50,000 points after 1k spend

How do you get this offer? I don't have this offer up on my page. Wondering if you have to be selected or what for this offer?
